codeine for the treatment of OCD?
I’d like to talk to people about their experience with codeine as a OCD treatment. I know it is a controversial subject due to the nature of addiction (which i might add is present in anti-depressants anyway.)
does anyone here agree with the use of codeine to help with the symptoms of OCD when other options have been exhausted.
codedine helps me alot, and i think if it gives you a better Quality of life when dealing with ocd, then i agree with it’s usage.

I don’t agree, sorry! I can’t imagine all other options being exhausted – maybe you haven’t found the right therapist? Or are you talking about drugs as being the other options? It takes much time and effort to help yourself overcome this issue. Codeine may help you in the moment but do you really want to live the rest of your life with this type of medication? And, then what happens when your body becomes immune to that? Heroine? And then what? You get what I mean!
