Why is he ignoring me now?

So in the first semester of my biology class there’s this guy that i classified as a “friend” but i’m really flirty so he would blush around me and stuff. I had him wrapped around my finger! So second semester, our class got smaller cause people dropped (it’s pre-ap), but he sits 1 person away from me. My class is really silly, we always joke around and stuff so once he said something hilarious in the middle of the class and everyone, even the teacher started laughing so then i said something funny in reply (not at his expense. i just blurted something random out) and everyone heard me and kept laughing but he just stopped laughing and turned away from me. He’s been doing this since second semester started…i’m like WTF did i do???

He’s just mad because your grabbing the attention he gets, I think. He likes people laughing at his jokes, but then, right after he makes one, you make another joke, so that people will start laughing at your joke. It seems pretty obvious He just wants all the attention for himself
